Our Method

JCL recognises the importance of client satisfaction - quality process and management play a critical role in maintaining this relationship and in ensuring high quality, cost effective projects.

JCL is committed to the following for all projects:

  • Meeting Customer Requirements: JCL will comply with client requirements as specified in the contract document and associated plans.
  • Adhering to Codes of Practice: JCL will also meet the requirement of the specified standard and codes of practice, including any Transit NZ specifications that are relevant to the work.
  • Ensuring Quality -  Both the Director and Operations Manager will be on hand for all projects to ensure quality is achieved at every step of the project, this will include the creation of a detailed quality plan for the project to be agreed by both parties.
  • Ensuring Safety – Safety is paramount to any project, both for the client and for JCL’s team. The Director and Health and Safety Office will ensure that they comply with the HSE act whilst completing field and office work.
  • Ensuring Co-ordination - The Director and management members will ensure co-ordination of the project so that it runs smoothly.
  • Ensuring Communication – The Director, management and senior team members will communicate on a regular basis to avoid any misunderstanding or waste of time or resources.
  • Project Timeliness – The Director and management will ensure that there is proper project planning and review of progress on a regular basis to identify any bottlenecks or blockages.
  • Budget Adherence  - The Director will monitor expenditure to ensure that cost overruns do not jeopardize the project.
  • Insurance compliance – JCL will detail the Insurance is required for the project to cover potential litigations or claims.
